The artist visited the AWRE lab site at night to gain a different perspective to these buildings. Spotlit by torchlight over long exposures, these series of four photographs have a more considered engagement with these buildings that belie their former use as atomic test laboratories. Two of these photographs were recently shown at the University of Beijing in China as part of the University of the Arts CCW staff Photography Research Group exhibition Scope: New Photographic Practices. The exhibition will be touring to other sites in China.
